One of the best ways to look after your espresso machine and keep it running for years to come is ensuring you use water filters in the tank.

The 70L sodium-based cationic water softeners filters LELIT PLA930M are a must have for all LELIT espresso machine owners. Their use ensures a better result in coffee preparation, better tasting coffee, and a healthier machine. These filters are compatible with all LELIT coffee machines.

This water filter should be replaced in your machine every 12 months if not sooner.

Installation Instructions:

Remove the water supply tube from your water tank. Holding the water tube firmly, remove your old water filter from the end of the water hose. Insert the outlet of your new filter in to the end of the water hose and push the hose over the outlet for a firm fit.

NOTE: The new filter will be dry and may float to the top of the water in your tank, which can create airlocks or starve your machine of water. Hold the new filter under the water while operating the pump (by engaging water flow from your machine) to prime the system and saturating the new filter cartridge with water. Once this is completed, your new water filter should sit on the bottom of your water tank.
